"Que por ti me voy al norte, que por ti me voy al sur, que no importa si hay destino siempre y cuando vayas tu"

I go to the North for you, or to the South; I don't care if there is a destiny as long as you go with me.

The other time as I was having my time with the Holy Spirit, I was aching in a land of unanswered prayer.
I did not want to be in that land, nor water the land.

That land terrified me & I did not want to walk there at all.

I felt upset, disappointed, numbed

There were no words for a while

I was caring about the place;  looking around in how the land was

I cared if it was a pretty place, if there were thorns

remember the story of Lot and Abraham?

where Abraham lets Lot choose:

Now Lot, who was moving about with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents.  But the land could not support them while they stayed together, for their possessions were so great that they were not able to stay together.  And quarreling arose between Abram’s herders and Lot’s. The Canaanites and Perizzites were also living in the land at that time.So Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives. Is not the whole land before you? Let’s part company. If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right; if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left.” Lot looked around and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan toward Zoar was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east.( Genesis 13)

Just like Lot, I want to choose for myself

I want to go to the land that looks well watered

then he said to me
 does it matter?
do you care more about the land than being with me?

"It doesn't matter,  what comes in our walk; what matters is that I'm with you & you are with me"

My deepest desire is to walk with him hand and hand but, I cared about where he would take me

I cared about the destination

would my destination be what I always wanted? my dreams being fulfilled?

I want to walk with you but, I need to know where you are going to take me.

He took me to the land of unanswered prayer.

"I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness & secret riches. I will do this so that you may know that I am the Lord the one who calls you by name" (Isaiah 45:3)

What if the treasures are in those terrifying lands?

Those that may look dark to enter? those that look the opposite of a well watered land?

The road is dangerous but, not barren
There is sustenance in any land because Christ is here.

In a dry land, He becomes the source of water, food & everything else.

Que no importa si no hay destino, siempre y cuando en el camino vayas tu.
